Oleg Trofimov - Exhibition Opens in Chalfont St Giles Friday 7 June
We are delighted to announce that Oleg will personally open his exhibition of new works at 6.00pm, Friday 7 June. The 'Presidents' artist will be in attendence at the gallery to talk about his work and personalise purchases made during the evening. This will be a unique opportunity to meet and purchase stunning works of art by one of Europe's leading lights in the art world, counting four Russian Presidents as well as many 'A' list celebrities among his collectors.
Colin Kent RI and Rosa Sepple RI SWA - Exhibition Opens Friday May 10 at Chalfont Gallery
Two of the leading and most outstanding Royal Institute artists open their first joint exhibition at the Hillier Gallery, Chalfont St Giles on May 10. Both artists will be at the gallery to talk about their work and personalise purchases made on the evening which begins at 6.00pm.
MP attends Opening Night
We were delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Cheryl Gillan MP who attended the opening of our new gallery in Chalfont St Giles on Friday 8 March. The evening was very busy with Cheryl commenting: “One of the high points of my job is being invited to things like the opening of the hillier gallery. Having worked in Russia over 25 years ago I was delighted to find some wonderful Russian and Eastern European artists for sale alongside some fabulous home-grown British talents. There are pieces for traditionalists and modernists at reasonable prices and it was heart-warming to learn that people are welcome to come in and browse as well as to buy. I’m delighted to welcome Andrew and his gallery to Chalfont St Giles and wish him every success.”

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrzej who passed away on January 11. His work in oils was unique and inspirational and he was undoubtedly one of Europe's finest oil 'technicians' producing mystical, emotional and surreal visions. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts and sympathies go to his wife and family.

We are delighted to announce that Oleg Trofimov will be at the gallery on Saturday 13 October to open his first UK Exhibition. He will talk about his work and personalise purchases made on the day. To celebrate the event Oleg is also launching a set of hand embellished limited edition prints which will be available for sale from the exhibition opening.

Aberdeen Art Fair 18/19 August
Come and visit us on Stand 1 at the Aberdeen Art Fair 18/19 August (Private View Friday 17). We will be unveiling brand new works by 2 world renowned artists, Oleg Trofimov, the Russian Modern Master who counts Russian Presidents, Vladimir Putin, Dimitri Medvedev and Boris Yeltsin among his worldwide family of collectors and Italian landscape impressionist genius Roberto Di Viccaro. Both artists have produced new works specially for Aberdeen and this will be the first time their paintings have been seen in Scotland, representing a fabulous opportunity to see and purchase works of art of outstanding quality by these giants of the contemporary art world.
Also on view will be paintings by Rosa Sepple RI SWA, Scott Mattlin, Christine Taherian SWA, Leanne Christie, Magda Rivera, Sergei Inkatov, Andrzej Piecha, Elaine Cooper and Richard Whyley.
Leanne Christie Exhibition opens Saturday August 4th
An exhibition of brand new original paintings by the celebrated decorative Devon artist Leanne Christie opens on Saturday 4th August. There will be 34 new works on display and for sale. Leanne will be at the gallery on the day to talk about her work and dedicate purchases made on the day.

Russian President buys Trofimov
Vladimir Putin has become the third Russian President to collect the works of the highly acclaimed Moscow artist Oleg Trofimov.
He follows in the footsteps of Boris Yeltsin and Andrei Medvedev. The Hillier Gallery is proud to represent Oleg exclusively in the UK and his work is on display in the gallery now.
